This mornings 10″ by 8″ oil study at James A Reed Wildlife Area. The tall prairie grass is about head high and typical of the prairie grass originally in western Missouri. They are burning patches of prairie grass this time of year. There were a lot of birds picking over one burned area just to my side this morning.
